Simplicity: – A complex landing page distracts user mind so keep your landing page simple. You should try to provide the shortest path possible to the user to complete the desired action. Your Landing page should contain only two options for your user to select from i.e.  Either to be a part of your list or don’t be part of your list. Any other option can create confusion.

Freebies: – Your Landing page should contain freebies which a user would get for becoming a part of your list. Freebies could be a high quality e-book or a custom report which is hard to find on web. Nobody like to give their personal details of they are in desperate need of the product you are going to offer.

Relevant Content: – Add Relevant and Unique content to your Landing page describing about your services and benefits people would get after becoming part of your list. Follow the inverted puramid structure while writing your content that is the conclusion and other most important information should be at the top and other less supportive information should be at the end of your landing page.

Privacy Policy: – Make sure that you put a link to your company privacy policy so that users can know that how you are going to use this personal information. Make sure to tell them that their information would be kept private and it won’t be sold or used for any illegal purposes. Add your contact information to the landing pages so that your user can contact you any time and to ensure that you are not scammer.

Analyze Results: – Create multiple landing pages for the same offer, so that you can know what things work and which pages convert better as compared to others. You can use these results for tweaking your landing pages and to increase your conversion rate.

    Another suggestion.

    Use plenty of white space.

    Write your material so that is is super easy for people to scan your text.

    No-one reads on the web – they scan.
