An online community and resource site for freelancers & work-at-home folks

FreelanceLaw, Inc. is currently recruiting freelance legal professionals* to post their profiles on its nationwide, qualification-searchable database.

A freelance legal professional is an attorney, paralegal, interpreter, court reporter, or other professional that provides services to attorneys or law firms on a non-employee/ independent contractor basis. Other terms commonly used are contract attorneys, appearance attorneys, contract paralegals, temporary attorneys, etc.

FreelanceLaw beta-testers will get a free profile listing their qualifications and project interests on FreelanceLaw, Inc. website which is accessed by law firms looking for legal freelancers. Beta-testers will be asked to evaluate the site and make suggestions for improvements. FreelanceLaw is not an agency; law firms will contact freelancers about projects directly through the site’s messaging system and any project work will be subject to separately negotiated agreement(s) between the freelancer and the law firm.

FreelanceLaw is especially interested in legal professionals with foreign language or other specialized skills, and those interested in research and legal writing, as well as document review.

DEADLINE: Get your free profile by registering as a beta-tester at www.freelancelaw.com before August 1, 2009.

Compensation: Free profile on database (for no less than 6 months) in exchange for evaluating and providing suggestions to improve the site.

DISCLAIMER: FreelanceVenue does not verify the validity or authenticity of each job posting, like the one above. Apply or inquire at your own risk!
