Saw this while we were surfing the web. Sounds like a good opportunity!
We are sponsoring the “Make A Difference” blog contest in correlation with a study conducted by Dermanetwork.org about public support banning children from tanning beds. The hope is to spread awareness about the dangers of skin cancer. Blogs have positioned themselves as a powerful social media tool that can reach out to the masses. Young adults may not read a newspaper or watch the news, but they do read blogs. Our goal is to spread information through the web in a way that will reach the children, who may be the most endangered by melanoma.
Bloggers are to create a blog entry that is educational and has a large impact on the population of readers. Blogs will be evaluated based on a specified point scale and judged on both educational content and impact on the readers. A panel will judge all entries and decide the winner.
The winner will get a choice between a donation of $500 dollars to the Melanoma Research Foundation in their name or a $500 Visa Gift Card.
If interested in applying, please send an email to BlogHealthNews@yahoo.com and we will send the specific contest rules to you.
Good luck!
