Chances are, you already read and send emails on a daily basis. You probably can’t even count how many times you’ve used your email, since waking up this morning. Today, email communications has become a part of people’s lives. It’s fast, effective, and cheap or free!
It’s as simple as adding an email signature at the bottom of each email that you send. Most, if not all, email providers give you the option to put a signature in your emails. Put it to good use and stop wasting that space! It’s a great promotional tool, and it’s very unobtrusive!
Bryan, a freelancer from After5PC.net, has given us an example of the signature he places at the bottom of his emails.
As you can see, his signature contains the basic info that you’d want to have included on your email signature: name, position, business name, and website (if any). You can also add your business phone number, if you have alternative ways of being contacted.
Now, every time you write to your friends, a co-worker, a relative… or anyone… you are advertising your business or services — and it’s a FREE way to promote, isn’t it? Think of the extra website traffic you will be receiving just by adding a few lines to your email!
If you don’t like the example given above by After5PC, then try to write something short, catchy, and easy to remember. Make it interesting enough so that people will want to click on it, not be scared of it.
Here’s an example a friend uses:

That’s more to promote something personal, but you can certainly use the same idea for your business.
The use of email signature is a wonderful tool to advertise for free. Use it to your advantage!
