TRP is seeking individuals for an entry-level position as a Technical Assistant. Promotion opportunities and increasing responsibilities are available for those that excel in this role. Experience in one or more of the following areas are beneficial:
· Emergency Management or Emergency Response Planning / · Industrial Health, Safety and/or Fire Protection / · Environmental Compliance / · Business Continuity / · Project Management / · Technical Writing

Job Applicants must:
· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Have excellent Quality Assurance/Control skills
· Be highly organized and detail oriented
· Have Proven track record of job stability and consistent attendance
· Have the ability to multi-task with several projects at a time

In addition to the desired skills/experience identified above, one or more of the following skills/experience are highly desirable:
· Consulting experience
· Knowledge of Federal/State planning regulations (EPA, OPA90, SPCC, DOT)
· Experience in Regulatory Training and Exercise development
· Experience in public speaking, training or instructional delivery

Responsibilities include assisting in the development of oil spill, emergency response, and SPCC plans.
