When you communicate with clients overseas, it may be a good idea to find out your time gap to ensure your client receives your correspondence at the right time of the day. Knowing your client’s local time and the time zone associated to his location can also help you if you have deadlines to meet… especially if those deadlines are specific to the client’s time zone (example — Deadline: August 31, 2007, Central Standard Time). You wouldn’t want to turn in a late project, would you?
