Believe it or not, that little “Submit” button you have on your website can affect your conversion rates. It’s certainly a simple component, yet it is powerful enough to create an action from your site visitors or customers. Many people concentrate on the sales text content of their pages and often overlook that little “Submit” button they have in the bottom of their sales page. It too can have a powerful effect if used properly.

How?

How to increase your conversion rates! / Increase website conversion, sales conversion

Instead of using the word “Submit” or “Subscribe” for the button text, try using a different type of action phrase — one that captures the emotion of your website’s visitors, especially one that tells them how they can benefit by clicking the button. What kinds of words can you use to compel a visitor to click on that button? If you were the visitor, what words or phrases would take your attention? Put yourself in their shoes and think about those things that will make you want to buy that product if you were to be a customer as well. If that grabs your attention, chances are, it will work for others too.

Here are samples of button text you can use:

  • Yes, I want INSTANT access!
  • Yes, send me my FREE report now!

If you have better ideas, then go for it! The point is, that little submit button can be powerful too! Use it to your advantage!
