I wish I could contact this guy to let him know that he’s about to purchase a fake PR 7 website from this seller! If you want to see what I’m referring to, CLICK HERE. This buyer is about to make a big mistake! Maybe one of you can find a way to warn him…

Do you buy domain names on the basis of Pagerank? If you are buying domain names based on Google PR, you must be careful as they are not always what they seem. Don’t take someone’s word for it. Check the domain and see if the Page Rank it’s generating is a valid Google PageRank. Why? Because some domain sellers artificially inflate their domain’s PageRank and then sell the supposedly “high-quality, established” domain name to unsuspecting buyers. (Sorry, but we won’t discuss here how to generate a fake pagerank — that would defeat the purpose of this post)

Here’s the domain name with a FAKE pagerank of 7: GHATechnologies.org
The PageRank of 7 actually belongs to another site, according to Google’s results: gha-associates.com

Once again, someone has used an SEO trick to make a profit! What a loser!

The field of internet marketing is very much influenced by search engines. So seo advertising is posed as a solution for current scenario. Quality domain name registration is required by any firm online. Small firms and individuals usually go for cheap web hosting services for cost efficiency reasons. These days internet phone service is also provisioned on web servers. But usually they don’t get much quality backup software services. You can find many such firms by using webhosting cheap in search words.

Well, someone ended up paying $100. That is a very high price to pay for a Google Pagerank that isn’t real.

Hope this post will encourage others to be more careful…
