Do you want to go freelance? Do you have skills in web design, graphic design, programming, writing, search engine optimization, advertising, or other skills in demand?
If so, then opportunities are out there as long as you know where to look. That’s where freelance websites come in. Freelance websites like Project4Hire.com help you connect with thousands of clients who are looking for help for their projects.
Project4Hire.com allows anyone who is looking for help for a project to post the project description, along with any skills that are required to complete the job. The project is then opened for bidding to freelance professionals registered on the site. The bid given is usually the total price quote that the freelancer asks to complete the job. When the service buyer is satisfied with the bids, he can award the project to the freelancer of his choice at anytime during the bidding process.
Project4Hire.com also offers an escrow option to give some guarantee to the service buyer that the job will be completed and to the freelancer that he will receive the payment at the completion of the project.
It is free for both service buyers and freelancers to register at Project4Hire.com. Posting a project is also free. However, after a project is awarded to a freelancer, the freelancer is required to pay a commission fee of 5% of his winning bid. The service buyer can decide to pay the commission fee on behalf of the freelancer.
If you are looking for freelance jobs in Custom Web Design, Programming or Writing, Project4Hire.com is definitly a good place to check out. Register for free and start bidding on jobs.

I haven’t seen Project4Hire.com before. Looks like a good site, particularly with the escrow option which is absolutely necessary nowadays. 5% is fantastic value too – compares with Elance favorably too.
I just posted an article on the use of freelance exchanges, I think I will update it with Project4Hire.com.
