How to make your website INTERACTIVE and a MAGNET to search engines
Here’s a little trick you can use to attract the search engines to your website as well as make it interactive and dynamic at the same time. It can be a lethal combination, and can certainly help your website or business in the long run. It will encourage your visitors to return to your websites again and again! The interesting thing is… it is a proven technique used by some of the biggest sites on the internet. If they use it in their arsenal, you can too. What am I talking about? Keep reading to find out…
You probably know about it already but just have not implemented it. Or maybe you have not heard about this technique yet. Well you’re about to find out what I am talking about…
What do you need to do? Easy. Just integrate a comments section on your website, preferrably on each of your pages. By doing this, you allow your web visitors to participate on your website and interact with each other. Not only that, but the addition of comments keeps you website dynamic by adding fresh content for the search engines. By having fresh content — which is actually provided by your visitors when they leave a comment — you’ll be visited by the search engines regularly. Isn’t that nice?
Here’s an overview of the benefits of the little trick I just told you about:
- The first is actually something I’ve already mentioned earlier. Because your sites are constantly being updated with fresh and unique content, search engines will keep returning to your site and possibly place you higher in their search results.
- There’s more potential for your visitors to come back to your website to read other people’s comments.
- Your site visitors can ask questions directly from your pages, saving you money with helpdesk softwares that you may have thought of installing for support purposes. Not only that, but other visitors can also help by replying to the questions with their own answers…. so you saved on manpower and software!
- The trick makes your website feel more like a community, where a visitor is given the opportunity to interact with you and others.
- If you like, you can even collect the names and email addresses of everyone who leaves a comment, providing you with a targetted mailing list that you can contact from time to time with your site offers.
These are just a few of the several benefits of integrating a comments section on your individual pages. There is no doubt, interactive, dynamic websites are the future of the world wide web. It’s being used by huge companies like YouTube, MySpace, and others… and so should you!!

Great tips! You know I try to keep my blog updated often. I do go through dry spells where I just can’t get the urge to blog. I hate when I get like that. I have ideas but sometimes I don’t know what to say. Now I figure if I have something to say I will blog about it even if its only one sentence. I want my tiny little readers to know that my blog isn’t dead.
Thanks for visiting FreelanceVenue! Actually, we get those dry spells too. And you’re right. Just saying a little something like “I’ve got nothing about freelancing today” is already a new content to add!
