JOB OFFER: Freelance Writer for Web Content
Here’s a job offer for a freelance writer. Apply at your own risk!
YourDictionary.com is seeking a freelance writer to create web articles and other content (such as emails, newsletters, forum postings) on topics pertaining to grammar, words and ESL. Our ideal candidate would have a strong background in the English language, excellent research skills, and a lengthy history of website work (including blogging and forums). YourDictionary is part of a team of sites that includes LoveToKnow.
Pay is per article (generally $30 for a 650+ word article) and work is part-time, but we are looking for someone who can commit to creating approximately 20 articles per month.
Make sure to highlight your relevant dictionary experience (i.e. ESL teaching credential, adv. degree in linguistics, English, lexicography, etc), and include “Dictionary & Grammar” in the subject line. In addition, please include at least two short writing samples. Please send us your work samples and the list of your qualifications to YDwriters@gmail.com.
