Freelance Reporter
We have several part-time freelance reporter positions available that can be performed from your home office. We are seeking honest, detail oriented, self-motivated freelance reporter personnel with a desire to work from home. The preferred candidate should have at least 2 years of factual reporting experience with Internet access and knowledge. We will provide all the required system training to get you up and running with us quickly. No special software or hardware required.We require candidates with some background in news reporting; familiar with the construction industry and construction project approval fundamentals and procedures. Your reporting would involve the use of the internet, email communication, phone follow-up and some out bound research calls. The right candidate can advance within the organization.
You will be working for an informational resources company providing time sensitive information to the construction industry through an on-line database. We are currently in the process of expanding our services throughout the east coast and looking for qualified individuals to handle specific territories.
If accepted as a reporter, you would be assigned a territory for coverage and responsible for researching and collecting planning board application information from local city and town building and planning board offices; researching and reporting on pertinent project and construction news and then input the data into our on-line database. Your compensation for this work will be for each completed project entry including follow-up.
