Creating your own affiliate program or joint venture partnership is a great way to promote your products or services. Here’s where to find affiliates or partners to work for you.
1. FORUMS
Find forums that relate to your products and services. But don’t join in and spam the forum with your PMS and requests. Make yourself useful by making relevant posts and participating actively in discussions. After establishing yourself, then you can ask people if they’re interested in being your affiliates.
2. SEARCH ENGINES
Hit search engines like Google and type in the keywords related to your products or services. Take a note of those sites that relate to yours (who are not your competitors, of course). You can then contact them afterwards. There are polite ways to contact the site owners without spamming (we won’t cover that in this post).
3. EBAY
This method is similar to #2 above. You contact the seller to see if they are interested in partnering up with you. Suggest to them that they can upsell to their existing customers by recommending your products or services when sending them a confirmation email, or including their affiliate link on thank you notes that are sent along when they ship their items.

4. BLOGS
Find new blogs on the net that are in your niche. Newbies may be more willing to accept your partnership. You can target the “big guys” of course, if your site is very popular or well-known or established.
