Demand Media Studios is looking for experienced copy editors to ensure our audience of over 80 million people receives the best quality content possible. Every day, we publish and distribute over 5,000 articles to a highly passionate audience that demands accuracy and quality. With a growing arsenal of articles created by our writers, our team of copy editors has a virtually inexhaustible number of assignments to work on. We are looking for dedicated editors who can deliver quality work in a timely manner and are comfortable with occasional communication with writers.

Editing with Demand Media Studios:

Telecommuting position with all work done online
Flexible schedule allows you to work from any location at any time
No minimum or maximum work requirements
Flat fee of $3.50 per article, with most editors averaging $20 to $25 per hour
Payments are made twice a week and are deposited directly into your PayPal account

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years as an Managing, Line, Features, Section or Associate Editor at a newspaper, magazine, book publisher or publication
Unyielding attention to detail
Ability and willingness to provide constructive feedback to writers
