Where Can I Build A Website

When Building your website optimization is of prime importance. This is the speed that it loads. Visitors to the site will not wait for slow loading pages. The patients of web surfers is relatively low.

Speeding up your web pages is relatively easy. One of the things that you can do is limit the size is of your pictures to the smallest size they can. Pictures can be a heavy load depending on the size. Also, advertising banners that are on your site if they are animated, can have large file sizes. It depends how they are structured. There is also the ability to combine requests for external files and put them into one or just a few calls to get the files.

Validating your website to the W3C standards is a good idea. This is good if you can do this but it can take a lot of work. There is an argument that validating is not really that necessary. There are a lot of sites that have errors that are in the top of the search engine indexes. What is good about validating is you can find errors that you can easily fix. Limiting these errors is to your benefit as not to crash your visitor’s browser. Browsers are designed to handle a certain amount of errors but they have their maximum limits.

If you are going to build a website that has a lot of files such as an article site or a site with pictures or videos, a very good language and database is PHP and MySQL these are fantastic choices. What is great is these are fast and they are not that difficult to work with and learn. These two work together hand-in-hand for fast file input and retrieval to load.

If you have been contemplating setting up a blog this is a great choice. Search engines have a good ability to get through this code and can index it fairly easily compared to other websites. Blogs are great because the search engines know that they have updated and a fervent fan base for certain blogs.

When buying hosting space a careful choice is needed. A lot of shared hosting companies are not good enough for hosting a business website. There are only a very few good choices for shared hosting that are good enough for this.

Membership sites are also a great choice. The main positive aspect is a continuous monthly income of the members. This will keep the website active and give it the ability to bring in fresh content by either writing it yourself or paying writers to keep the content up to date. There is also the ability to let the members add content.

Another great site is a site feed by RSS or ATOM for news or other content types. These sites will have automatic updated content on a constant basis. There will need to be some unique content such as editorials about events.

A key to a site that will get indexed by the engines is unique content. Duplicate content is okay but to really make a difference and stand out is must be different.

The most successful websites are those that are different. If someone wants to sell you a copy of something then the odds are “hold on to your wallet.” This may be okay to drive traffic to it by direct methods such as articles, videos, and advertising but getting indexed by engines in an organic search will be few to none as the originals have already been.

There is also the one page website. This website basically captures leads of people who are interested in a product. The company that pays for the leads supplies the page in most cases and you supply the advertising. Sometimes you can build your own landing page yourself for their approval or of course your own product or service. These leads can also be called cost per action (CPA).

Another very popular method that is very successful is the free blog system. This is where someone sets up a blog within a major blog usually it is free. They can be a simple page or multiple pages within the major blog. The key to this success is the major blog already has success and is trusted in the search engines. There is some oversight by the main owners of the sub-blogs within it to keep up with at least minimum standards. The search engines know this so they give better indexing to the individual blog owners web pages.

My friends laughed at me when I told them I was going to work from home to earn an income.

I found a website called surefirehire.com, and I have been able to replace my income, and then some. hahaha…friends.
