As a freelancer, you probably have your profile posted somewhere on the web. Your online profile can play a big role in landing you some freelance jobs. Did you know that just a simple change of your profile info can practically increase your income?
When freelancers post a description about themselves on job sites, most make their profile details TOO IMPERSONAL. This works to your disadvantage because then you don’t stand out from everybody else. Because of that, employers scroll on — not even noticing you at all.
Be different!
Change your profile description and make it more personal and friendly. Of course, details about your expertise and qualifications are important, but is that what you are all about? What makes you human? What makes you… YOU? Let potential employers know that you are a PERSON — not a machine. What are your personal characteristics? The employer should be able to close his or her eyes and picture the kind of person you are, without even seeing you in person!
