JOB OFFER- Sales People, Marketers – Solar Products

SunNight solar is a Houston-based company which specializes in designing, manufacturing and distributing solar consumer products, primarily solar powered portable electronic lighting devices – solar flashlights. We are seeking sales Account Managers, to represent our firm and products worldwide to commercial, government and non-governmental organizations. These positions can be part time and you may work from home, with weekly participation required at our centrally located office for meetings; therefore, Houston based applicants only please. Compensation for these positions will be commissioned based on sales volume and revenue. SunNight Solar also has a company profit sharing program.

We recently debuted a new product, the Mini-BoGo and images and additional information can be seen at www.bogolight.com. This is an incredible device and we are very pleased with how it came out – our engineers did a fantastic job. It features one super bright white light LED, with a mono-crystalline photovoltaic solar panel, one nickel metal hydrate AA battery and the LED is manufactured by the Japanese firm Nichia, one of the world’s largest LED manufacturers and the inventor of the super bright white light LED. This product was designed with a team of international engineers from Canada, New Zealand, the United States and China to exceed US military DOD specifications and it is totally waterproof and highly resistant to damage – and when we say waterproof we mean you can go swimming with it! The device provides approximately 4 hours each night of illumination. The wholesale bulk cost for this light is $10.00; therefore, we anticipate huge interest, and sales, with this light. It will provide over 4000 hours of light on one battery; compared to 15 or 20 hours with a conventional flashlight and we will be able to compete head-to-head price-wise with conventional flashlights prices/sales with vastly superior performance.

Additionally, Sunlight solar has been working in Haiti for the last four years. Last September 2009 we started working with the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) on a project called Light Haiti. The Light Haiti Project previously was set up to provide 500,000 of our lights to the people of Haiti. Last week the company CEO traveled to Florida, and met with President Clinton and the other members of the Haiti focus group, and the President has asked us to greatly increase our commitment to the people of Haiti. This rewarding effort is something we are very pleased to participate in with the Clinton Global Initiative. Please see www.lighthaiti.org and www.lighthaiti.ning.com

We are also the developers of another flashlight we called the SL-2 and it is a fantastic product as well. This device which was designed with the assistance of the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program, supported by NASA, the Department of Energy, with feedback from the International Finance Corporation, part of the World Bank group and a number of American universities. Time Magazine called this product a portable light bulb. It has nine LEDs, three of which are designed to illuminate a small room 4 m x 4 m and has six LEDs which operate as normal flashlight. Each of these two modes room and task, has a high, medium and low setting. With the three settings a consumer in the developing world or here in the US during a camping trip or emergency can have usable light all night long.

These technologies are revolutionary and are disruptive technology. A normal flashlight will provide between 15 and 20 hours of illumination prior to battery replacement. There are two billion people in the world who continue to rely on kerosene, candles and traditional flashlights for illumination when the sun sets. The Lighting Africa team at the International Finance Corporation believes that this international market is $39 billion a year opportunity. A lack of illumination and expensive illumination, forces people in the developing world to remain in darkness or spend between 20 and 30% of their disposable income on lighting, therefore, the development of these two products is an outstanding opportunity to improve lives and change the way the people of our planet now illuminate their homes and lives at night.

Lighting is often overlooked as part of development assistance activity because the technology is never been possible in the past. If you would’ve put 10,000 flashlights into Sudan, like we did last year, a few years ago, in 2 to 3 days, you would have 10,000 useless devices. Our lights can last up to 20 years, with battery changes required every 2 to 3 years – this is not planned obsolescence.

Conventional flashlights which were invented and developed in the early 1900s have not changed in design since they were first developed. There is no other category of technology whether communications, medical, transport etc. which has not changed in over 100 years.

So, we are looking for people to help us market and sell these amazing products around the world. These will be part time positions done from the comfort of your home at any time. If you wish to work at two in the morning, or two in the afternoon, or whenever you would like, that is fine with us. You should be willing to commit at least four hours a day to this endeavor. These positions will be compensation based on commission sales and profit sharing of the company. The way this will work is as follows, there will be two meetings held each week Tuesday morning from 7 to 9 and Thursday morning from 7 to 9 – you do not have to come to both, you must come to one.
